Private museum storeroom tours
Go behind the collection doors with two curators
Putnam Museum and Science Center
The Putnam offers arranged behind-the-scenes collection tours for families, friends and other small groups. Two curators lead up to eight guests through five normally nonpublic storerooms, offering a closer look at objects kept beyond the exhibition galleries. This is a guided collection visit, not a museum party rental.
Current location note / listed area: Davenport, Iowa
Ages 14+ only. The route has stairs and narrow aisles, no seating and no wheelchair accommodation; participants must stand and walk for the hour.
