What we store

If you submit a listing, correction, contact or advertiser request, we store your name, email, business, website, location, message, request type, consent version, timestamps and review status in the site’s database. Only the authenticated owner dashboard can read submissions. Please do not send sensitive personal or payment information.

Why

To review and respond to requests, maintain directory accuracy, consider future partnerships and deter abuse. No submission is automatically published, sent to a vendor or charged. Email notifications are not configured; receipt means the request reached the owner dashboard, not an inbox.

Technical data and service providers

Sites hosted authentication and Cloudflare-backed hosting/database services process requests needed to run the site. Signed-in owner identity is used for access control and audit history. Rate limiting stores hashed request-network and email-derived bucket keys for a limited period, not a raw IP address in the application database. Infrastructure providers may maintain their own operational logs. The existing design loads font styles from Google Fonts, which receives the network requests needed to deliver those fonts. We have not added advertising pixels or analytics trackers.

Cookies and saved lists

A short-lived, secure, HttpOnly, same-site cookie protects forms against cross-site submission. Hosted sign-in uses platform authentication cookies. Your shortlist is saved only in your browser; it is not sent to us, and does not automatically move between devices or domains. You can clear it using “Clear my list.”

Retention and your requests

The owner can delete inquiry personal data through the dashboard. Requests remain until reviewed or deleted; automated inquiry deletion is not currently configured. Minimal audit history and source-supported public listing corrections may remain. Ask to access, correct or delete your submission through the contact form; include the receipt reference, not sensitive identity documents. Exported owner backups must be handled securely and may retain earlier copies.

Public directory information

Directory information is researched from linked public business sources. A listing is not an endorsement, partnership or vendor-confirmed availability. Use the correction form for updates. External vendor sites have their own privacy practices.
