The C.C. Stern Type Foundry invites appointment visits to its specialized collection of metal type-casting equipment and printing resources. Monotype, Linotype and Ludlow matrices, casting machines and related tools preserve the machinery behind physical letterforms. This volunteer organization offers an unusual industrial-craft collection outing rather than an ordinary art gallery visit.
