Live sculpted produce portraits
Watch an ordinary squash become a three-dimensional face.
Peculiar Pumpkin Portraits / Doug Goodreau
Doug Goodreau offers private-party onsite pumpkin sculpting and commissioned fruit or vegetable portraits from photographs. His Peculiar Pumpkin Portraits service explicitly accepts projects beyond Halloween, with the actual produce and design chosen for the occasion. The unusual hook is sculptural likeness and imaginative three-dimensional forms, not a standard jack-o-lantern table.
Current location note / listed area: Los Angeles, California; private event carving and custom decorative commissions
Confirm current acceptance, seasonal produce, subject/design rights, dimensions, display life, transport, venue access, work area and cleanup directly. Treat works as decorative: the FAQ describes paint and preservation treatments, and no edibility or food-safety assurance is made. Exact likeness, year-round availability of every fruit and a fixed preservation duration are not guaranteed. Carving instruction is a separate option requiring explicit participant, tool and supervision arrangements.
