Traveling puppet theater and large bird-marionette making
Build a three-foot bird and give it a puppet-stage debut.
Harmony Hill Puppet Theatre / Mary Benson
Mary Benson offers a traveling puppet theater with its own draped stage, lighting and sound, explicitly including private parties. Her workshop menu includes assembling a three-foot goose, flamingo or ostrich marionette from prepared pieces, as well as shadow-screen puppetry. The distinctive family format pairs making a puppet with learning to perform it.
Current location note / listed area: Lancaster, Pennsylvania; traveling family performances and workshop bookings by inquiry
Confirm whether the specific workshop can be arranged for your private gathering, current repertoire, travel, capacity and age requirements. The large-bird workshop is listed for grades6–8 and requires simple sewing skills; other programs target different ages. Do not assume an adult class or a bespoke puppet wedding ceremony. Provide suitable space and power for a performance.
