Custom pet kinetic keepsakes
Commission a pet-inspired paddling whirligig.
WhirligigsWest / Joe Burgess
Joe Burgess’s WhirligigsWest shop offers made-to-order wind-driven garden figures, including a dog paddling a miniature kayak. Its current custom-dog option invites reference photos of a customer’s pet and a choice of kayak color. The maker describes these as simplified representative figures rather than exact portrait likenesses. This is a personalized kinetic object commission, not a live performance or party workshop.
Current location note / listed area: Grass Valley, Oregon seller; commissioned physical objects, not event attendance
The October28,2026 shop announcement says orders reopened before an October31 return from vacation and that intake may continue into November only as volume permits. Confirm design interpretation, moving mechanism, dimensions, materials, mounting, placement, weather care and lead time directly. The maker expressly does not promise portrait-level likeness. No toy suitability, durability or event-date guarantee is independently verified, and no performer or onsite installation is included.
