SOMA Cakes NYC / Like Butter Entertainment
Hiroyo Ruiz and Satoko Newman create elaborate three-dimensional cakes at SOMA Cakes NYC. Its owned novelty gallery includes a sculpted Freddie Mercury portrait in a pink top, with modeled hair, face and arms; that image was actually viewed. The current order page explicitly accepts 3D cakes, and the business separately presents a wedding-cake portfolio. Like Butter Entertainment merged into SOMA in 2021 and is consolidated here.

The portrait is a portfolio example, not a guaranteed repeat design, standard wedding package or endorsement by an artist or estate. Confirm the proposed sculpture, edible and structural components, allergens, servings and delivery needs. Orders require acceptance; the business says it does not ship cakes and operates by appointment. Cultural biography and ordinary layer cakes are not the novelty basis.
