Personalized gyotaku-style catch keepsakes
Commemorate a catch with a custom fish-art commission.
Maui Fish Printing / Brian Heustis
Brian Heustis accepts personalized fish-art commissions through Maui Fish Printing. Alongside his gyotaku work, the owned site expressly offers catch-commemorative artwork using a client’s photographs and measurements, with chosen species details, colors and composition. This is a tangible commissioned keepsake rather than a stock fish print; photo-referenced work is not necessarily a direct imprint of the client’s fish.
Current location note / listed area: Makawao, Maui, Hawaii; commissioned artwork by inquiry
Maker-only, not a live wedding demonstration, fishing charter or private workshop. Confirm the precise direct-print versus photo-referenced painting process, reference-image rights, dimensions, paper or other medium, framing, acceptance and lead time. Do not send any specimen without a separate explicit agreement; no specimen eligibility, shipping-law, food-safety, edible-after-printing, preservation or luck guarantee. Separate ordinary reproductions are not the custom offer. Older biography/footer versions coexist with current commission/contact pages, so confirm current fulfillment directly.
